Dr Naresh Kanumilli

Dr Kanumilli has worked as a GP in South Manchester for the past 16 years, with a specialist interest in diabetes and cardiology. He is a Community Diabetes consultant at Manchester University Foundation Trust, Clinical Network Lead for Diabetes for Greater Manchester, Primary Care Research Lead for Diabetes, and a Diabetes UK clinical champion.

He is currently in the process of setting up the interdisciplinary integrated care model in Manchester, and is actively involved with the ongoing integration agenda – in order to provide patients with seamless care. The aim is to reduce hospital visits and ensure the development of a one-stop clinic, improving outcomes and patient satisfaction across the Cardiovascular, Renal and Metabolic risk continuum.
